Why Early Access?

"Make Sail is a building game. We need builders to push the game's technical and design limits. We can only guess at what our most creative players will make. A feedback loop between players and developers will shape Make Sail into the best buoyantly bouncing boat building spectacle it can be."

"One year."

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

"More construction pieces, more islands, more creatures, Steam Workshop sharing, more polish, new game+, and, of course, fewer bugs. Much depends on what the community is hungry for."

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

"It's fun. It's beautiful. You can build boats and power them with square sails, triangle sails, energy sails, jets and propellers. There's a primary quest with about 4 hours of exploration and collection. You can spend days making boats that each handle uniquely in the wind and water."

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

"We may raise the price as we ship new content and features."

About This Game

Make boats and sail them. Build, explore, expand, discover. Sail your ships through changing water and wind inside the eye of a storm.

Snap together planks, poles, sails, masts, jets, propellers, balloons, sparklers and more. Take care that it floats....and right side up.

Cross the sea to find pieces to make your ship bigger, faster, stronger, prettier, stranger, wilder: more yours.

Every island lets you redesign and rebuild.

The world is a procedural arrangement of crafted islands, pieces and creatures. Each replay will present different challenges and opportunities at different stages of gameplay.

As you push the storm back, new islands and new waters become available to explore. Find new pieces for your creations, escape giant creatures, and push onwards to escape.
